Poweshiek Animal League Shelter

Description

PALS is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal shelter in Poweshiek County, Iowa. We were organized in 2004, when pets were cared for in foster homes. We opened our shelter building in October 2007. We keep pets until they are adopted, or transferred to breed-specific rescues or other shelters where they may have a better chance of adoption. We euthanize only in cases of terminal illness or mortal injury.
