Sports World sends former professional athletes to speak with Junior and Senior High School students in assemblies about CHOICES and CONSEQUENCES of those CHOICES especially regarding drugs, alcohol, premarital sex, gang violence, and suicide. The athletes also tell students that their choice to put their trust in God is the foundational choice that gave them, the Pro, what it takes to avoid or overcome these vices. We speak in public, private, parochial, and alternative schools as well as juvenile detention centers and anywhere else that there is a venue to speak to teenagers. Our athletes are trained professional speakers who played in either the NFL or the NBA and are trained to speak about their faith within the guidelines of the United States Constitution. Most students immediately respect professional athletes because of their status in our society. Last school year our athletes spoke to over 800,000 students in over 2,000 schools in 34 states. We are a national organization that works with volunteers throughout the United States.
