The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra seeks to culturally enrich, educate and entertain the residents of the Greater Cincinnati Community through unique and innovative presentations designed to make symphonic music and the concert experience attractive, accessible and affordable.
The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, now in its 30th season, was founded to open the door for a new audience to enjoy symphonic music. Offering a wide variety of of musical styles, KSO concerts appeal to a broader, younger market with high quality and value. Each concert program is fashioned around a theme to provide a context for the listener. 70% of the concerts are free to the public, and the highest ticket price is $ 35 for the remaining concerts. The KSO performs year round for approximately 30 concerts as part of their subscription, summer and education series.
