Prevent Child Abuse Iowa is the only statewide organization dedicated to preventing child abuse. PCA Iowa touches the lives of more than 40,000 children and 10,000 adults every year through a range of programs. Prevent Child Abuse Iowa is home to the Iowa Child Abuse Prevention Program, Community Based Child Abuse Prevention program, and Connections Matter, Iowa’s response to ACEs. We support a network of community based child abuse prevention councils in 93 Iowa counties from our home base in Des Moines.
