Mission Statement

Almost Heaven Greyhound Adoption is a non-profit volunteer organization whose mission is fourfold: 1. To educate the general public about the availability and suitability of retired racing Greyhounds as pets, 2. To find loving and qualified homes for Greyhounds who are entrusted to us, 3. To offer ongoing support to those who adopt Greyhounds, and 4. To promote harmony and cooperation between all segments of the worldwide Greyhound community.

Description

AHGA receives retired racing Greyhounds from tracks and farms, houses them in our kennel or in foster homes, has all necessary veterninary work done, including spay/neuter, and searches for qualified, loving, responsible homes for them.
