Mission Statement

Friendship Home exists to support, shelter and advocate for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

Description

Friendship Home seeks to:

  • Provide safe, confidential shelter emergency and transitional shelter to rebuild lives free from fear.

  • Provide an array of crisis intervention services, case management and emotional support to women and children in shelter and those who are waiting for shelter.

  • Address the many complexities and barriers associated with domestic violence on an individual and community level responding to the unique needs of women and children we serve and improving our community's response to violence against women.

  • Continue to reach out to survivors through individual advocacy, emergency case management and support groups after they leave shelter.
