Mission Statement

The mission of CiroH Academy is to partner at risk children with neglected horses in an educational and therapeutic environment, so they may regain the ability to develop trusting and loving relationships by bonding with and caring for one another, leading to a healthier and more promising future.

Description

CiroH Academy is a 501c3 organization seeking to build a residential school and therapeutic riding center serving 100 foster youth and 50 horses in need, in northern Illinois. Our program model focuses on fostering resiliency, leadership, self-reliance and the importance of giving back. A family-like living environment, an enriched, project-based education and integrated mental health services will be complemented by community service opportunities, independent living support and post secondary educational support for our students.

Currently, our team is working to raise funds and awareness for the plight of abused children and abused horses as well as developing partnerships with the philanthropic and private sectors to build our campus as we finalize the details of our overall organizational structure, business plan and service model.
