Cat Care Provider

We are looking for an extremely experienced cat care provider to clean cages and care for our cats in our intake area at the Directors home. This is a private residence in Fairfax not far from Fair Lakes PetSmart. We have 30 cats in this area at a time that are receiving medical treatment, waiting for spay/neuter or just waiting for space at a store, foster home or Mount Purrnon Cat Cafe & Wine Bar. Most of the cats are very friendly and need some TLC as well as cage tidied, box scooped and being fed. If you have time to play even better! We have a longtime teen volunteer on saturday and an experienced volunteer on sunday that need help. teens are welcome. Through the week the hours would be 9-11 am.

Cat Care Help Needed at Fair Lakes PetsMart Adoption Center

CAT CARE Volunteers are needed to care for cats at the FairLakes PetsMart Adoption Center in Fairfax, VA. Care includes: cleaning cages, providing fresh food and water as needed and most importantly some much needed love and attention! Cat care givers can work alone or in teams, which may be beneficial in some situations as time flies when you're having fun with the kitties!. The Adoption Center takes 1-2 hours to care for 8+ cats. (People often stop by to ask about our cats). Volunteers must be at least 18 years old (but not younger than 14 years old), or accompanied by an adult. "Cat Taxi" drivers needed

Transportation is needed on weekdays and weekends, but times are flexible with your schedule. Responsibilities include pick-up and transport, to inlcude possible set-up of cages at adoption centers. Springfield Petsmart Adoption Center Morning Cat Care

CAT CARE Volunteers are needed to care for cats each morning at the Springfield PetsMart Adoption Center in Springfield , VA. Care includes: cleaning cages, providing fresh food and water, updating a health and behavior sheet, and providing some love and attention. The morning volunteer can access the store before it opens to keep the cats on a regular feeding routine Cat care givers can work alone or in teams, which may be beneficial in some situations as time flies when you're having fun with the kitties! It takes ~2 hours to care for 10+ cats in the adoption center. We're looking for someone who can commit long-term to a regular schedule of mornings. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old (but not younger than 14 years old), under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult. Fancy Cats Rescue Team was founded in 1997 and is a completely volunteer run non-profit, no-kill cat rescue. Our mission is to end needless euthanasia at shelters in the National Capital area by rescuing and finding suitable lifetime homes for our cats, promoting spaying and neutering, and educating the public on responsible pet ownership.

Fancy Cats Rescue Team is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Fancy Cats Rescue Team is a passionate leader in the animal rescue community with over 25 years experience. Founded in August 1997 by Cathy Awad, Fancy Cats now has PetSmart Adoption Centers and partner with mount Purrnon Cat Cafe & Wine Bar.

We provide adoption, rescue and education services by finding suitable lifetime homes for our cats, rescuing cats on death row at local shelters and educating the public on responsible pet ownership. We aspire to offer in-house spay and neuter services.

We live by our core values of integrity in all our dealings; compassion for all life; respect for our cats, our constituents and each other; and teamwork. We are responsive to our donors, adopters, volunteers and the public. Our volunteers and staff are recognized for their responsibility, dedication, knowledge and helpful service.

We provide these services for cats that would otherwise be euthanized, potential adopters, donors, local animal shelters, and our community.
