Sing, dance, create and explore with us! MMCM offers Toddler Time from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesdays. Toddler Time is a time for story-telling and crafts designed for our younger visiting kiddos. We are looking for volunteers to help us facilitate our Toddler Time that recognize the unique developmental stages and abilities of children up to 4 years old. Working with our Director of Exhibits & Education, volunteers facilitating Toddler Time will choose stories and develop crafts that will help our visiting toddlers with fine and gross motor skills, language development, and socialization. Must be able to facilitate on-site during pre-determined sessions.

The MMCM Gallery Docent will work in conjunction with the MMCM staff and volunteers to provide an exceptional learning experience for children, infant to age 10 years, and their families who visit the MMCM. Museum Docents will: Participate in educational programs when appropriate Provide a safe and hospitable environment for visitors to the museum assist in maintenance procedures that assure a clean and safe experience for children by helping with but not limited to tidying up galleries and birthday party/program rooms Monitor safety and report repairs of individual elements Be able to stand for two hours at a time and must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Assist in guided craft activities May be asked to participate in special event activities or attend outreach events to promote play and learn activities in the community

Position Overview The Marketing Intern is an organized and enthusiastic team member. You will be responsible for developing marketing collateral. During the internship, you will work on fundraising events, special museum programming, camps and outreach activities. At the end of your internship, you will have a portfolio for future jobs and a possible letter of recommendation from our Marketing Director. Duration MMCM offers a flexible schedule. Interns can work up to 30 weeks full time. You must be able to commit a minimum of three months and 10 to 15 hours a week. This internship is unpaid. Marketing Intern Responsibilities Create social media content and update social media to promote all museum events and recognize donor contributions Help with the production of collateral including brochures, handouts Help create and manage production of collateral for special events and fundraising events Marketing Intern Q ualifications A Marketing major or minor at a community college or university Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign a plus Strong customer service skills Ability to lead by example Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as collaborative skills to work with museum staff Ability to manage people and projects in a creative and fast-paced environment Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards A persistent self-motivator who can work with minimal oversight and achieve goals on a consistent basis Detail-oriented and organized Contact Us! You will be responsible for coordinating and planning collaborative fundraising and community events. Duration MMCM offers a flexible schedule. Interns can work up to 30 weeks full time. Primary Event Management Intern Responsibilities Plan collaborative and community events as assigned Organize facilities, manage all event details including decor, catering, entertainment, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc. Contribute to coordination of the museum’s signature fundraising events (Arts from the Heart). Assist with day-of logistics for all collaborative and community events and all signature fundraising events. Assist with the management of volunteers during events.
