At Loving Thunder, you will be helping children and adults with developmental delays and disabilities to enjoy learning to ride a horse. These individuals are faced with challenges every day, but learning to ride creates the biggest smiles and giggles you will ever see. Not to mention you are helping them boost their self-esteem and self-confidence, build muscle strength and much more. Your help as a horse leader would require some previous horse experience and sidewalker experience (all can be learned at LTTR). You would partner with the horse to provide the movement and interaction needed to cause big changes in the rider's life. More info can be found at http://www.lovingthunder.com/how-do-i-volunteer.html NOT TO WORRY, if you don't have horse experience, you can still help as a sidewalker. We will train you to be safe and effective around the horses and riders. Please see our sidewalker posting or go to the link above for more information.
