Mission Statement

The mission of South Mountain YMCA is to provide a camping experience, educational and other programs that build personal leadership, character and life skills while developing caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in young people, families and communities.

Description

Since 1948, the South Mountain YMCA has been at the heart of building strong kids, strong families, strong communities. Today, Camp Conrad Weiser Outdoor Center serves over 7,000 participants from March through November. In addition to our traditional summer resident camp and Bynden Wood day camping program we also offer spring and fall Outdoor Education, new Family Weekends and Group Conferencing.

As participants in our camping programs, children and teens are connected with caring role models, who help instill the YMCA's Core Character values.
