Mission Statement

International-Lawyers.Org (INTLawyers) is a non-governmental organization striving to promote social justice, equality, equity, and non-discrimination. Its strategies are based on the dictates of social justice and international law, especially international human rights law. INTLawyers undertakes to achieve its strategic goals by making representations in political forums within the United Nations (primarily at ECOSCO and the Human Rights Council); contributing opinions and studies to the UN and regional bodies; by organizing events, by itself and with partners that promote the human rights and development through cross-cultural perspectives; by producing publications on issue of importance to international human rights and development in a cross cultural perspective; entering into discussions with governmental and NGOs; offering technical support and expertise to governmental and NGOs; and by contributing to the work of international bodies with expert opinions.

International-Lawyers.Org is a non-governmental organization (NGO) registered according to the Swiss law as an association based in Geneva, Switzerland.

International-Lawyers.Org was created in 1989 as a result of the meeting of activists and intellectuals from all continents in particular from Europe and Africa who share the same vision of combating a world "order" that creates inequality, injustice and misery for many individuals as well as the mounting violence that threatens all the species on the planet in the 21 st Century.
