Mission Statement

To selectively and accurately represent life in Rural PA from 1700-1899.

Description

we are a living history site with over 38 log and stone structures designed to dipict a pioneer village of rural south central PA during the 1700-1899 time frame. Period dressed interpretors interact with the visiting public and schools to educate history in an entertaining way. 14 arts and crafts from that same time frame are demonstrated and re-enacted.
