Mission Statement
OAME youth store's mission is to promote business education and develop young entrepreneurship.
Description
Our goal is to provide supervision with continual support and mentorship from corporate Oregon to help promote and develop youth entreprenuership statewide. To help impact youth in the communities in the following areas: economic growth, business management, marketing, retail accounting, work experience, and increase community economic wealth. The OAME store will receive products for sale three sources (1) minority, women, and small businesses around the state of Oregon and (2) contributed products from Oregon Business Communities. Products from minority, women, and small businesses will be sold on consignment and thus provide a small commission to store if sold. Products donated by Oregon Corporate Businesses may be sold for cash or points accumulated by youth for doing good deeds in the community. Final source (3) seasonal products will be purchased and resold to help pay operating expenses and store growth.
