Description

The Home of the Founders of Appalachian State University, Once sat in Boone in serious disrepair. In 1989 an orginization founded by Wayne Underwood purchased the home for $1.00, Saving it from a planned removal that consisted of burning the home.

The home was repaired to the best quality possible for the funds available. The home sits at Mystery Hill In Blowing Rock, NC and includes the Native Garden behind the property as part of the museum space, With even more possibility of expansion as creative learning programs begin to expand. The home is currently in poor shape and needs serious repair, as well as more educational programs and documentation of items in the home.

Currently in the process of setting up the board of directors again!
