The World Poetry Project

Mission Statement

Our mission/goal is to encourage children, not only in the reading of poetry, but to the writing and creating of poetry by themselves through poetry workshops, contests and fund raising events. The World Poetry Project is a non profit organization sponsored by The Gina Ann Bail Foundation and Poet Samuel Taylor Paige. Working with poets from all over the United States and Canada,we are building a volunteered program that will work with children all over the world. Public and private schools, local Y.M.C.A's and Y.W.C.A's, The Boy's and Girl's Club of America and charity foundations will all benifit from this project.
