To inspire youth between the ages of 12 and 22 with a vision of personal responsibilityand community obligation.To assist youth in identify and embrace values that promote a holistic self-concept, enhance spiritual awareness and direct toward healthy lifestyles.
Description
The goal is to develop effective strategies to break the
cycle of self-defeating behavior. The Tools program,
a new millennium concept that expands economic
opportunities for East Atlanta Georgia youth annually in l ow and moderate income neighborhoods / service
areas by providing the skills and knowledge needed to start and operate successful small/ micro businesses.
Self-employment opportunities that undoubtedly will have a beneficial impact on general well being , and sustained family formation and ringing a clear resounding bell of self-sufficiency.We plan to accomplish our goals through Mentoring Partnerships with the private sector, teaching basic business skills in non-traditional classroom settings, hands on experiences in chosen businesses. We will assist the young entrepreneurers in getting their products to marketing. Including product service and design, development and marketing for one year after start up. The later is our signature component.
The program is divided into 7 stand alone modules. Each with empowerment pinciples.Character development, IT,Arts and Drama, Entrepreurship, Employment and Your Legal Rights.
