Mission Statement

Our vision is to find a cure for pancreatic cancer. Our mission is to: establish a premier Pancreatic Cnacer Center within UCLA for ongoing basic and clinical research on pancreatic cancer early detection and cure; to be recognized as a patient support reference source for pancreatic cacner victims and their families; to integrate and unite generations, young and old, while creating public awareness and raising money to go towards our fight against pancreatic cancer; and, to be open to assist in funding new projects and/or programs that may improve patient care, treatment and survival of pancreatic cancer.

Description

The Hirshberg Foundation is dedicated to promoting research and providing informaiton for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. We fund the Hirshberg Lab for Translational Pancreatic Cancer Research at the UCLA School of Medicine, as well as the Hirshberg Chair in Translational Pancreatic Cancer Research at UCLA.
