Mission Statement

The Beacon Program at M.S. 172 offers FREE educational, recreational and cultural programs for youth (ages 8-18) and adults in eastern Queens.

Description

The M.S. 172 Beacon is one of 80 similar city-funded after-school programs throughout NYC. We are sponsored & operated by the Samuel Field YM&YWHA. Our site opened in fall, 1998. We are open from 3pm - 9pm, Monday-Friday, and on Saturdays.
