Description

Since 1914 the American Cancer Society has raised funds for research and services and programs for adults or children with cancer. These services and programs include Kids Camp for children with cancer and support groups for children with cancer and children with cancer in thier lives. We have teen support groups as well as educational classes on skin care, health and nutrition for teens. We provide and or offer financial assistance. There are also personal needs items such as hats, wigs, scarves or transportation to treatments and doctors appiontments. We have Look Good Feel Good for women and Man to Man for men that provide info on skin care. We advocate for prevention on subjects like healthy eating, pyshical activity, yearly check-ups, and tobacco.

I lost my grandmother to Cancer and there's nothing better than volunteering my time to a good cause.
