Mission Statement

Established in 2000, Wee Widdle Ones Chihuahua and Pug Rescue, Inc. (WWOCPR) is a non-profit, charitable organization whose purpose is to rescue abused, abandoned and unwanted Chihuahua and Pug breed dogs from puppymills, shelters and pounds, found as strays and/or from people that can no longer provide for them. All rescued Chihuahuas and Pugs are provided with a medical exam, vaccinations, spay/neuter, parasite control, and veterinary care as needed. WWOCPR provides approved foster homes for their care prior to adoption. WWOCPR secures permanent, indoor homes for these dogs with persons applying for adoption. WWOCPR relies solely on donations and fund-raising activities for its source of income. WWOCPR will endeavor to maximize the percentage of its operating budget, which directly benefits rescued animals, including the spay/neuter of these dogs. Fundraising to support this will be achieved through solicitation and acceptance of contributions from individuals and other methods or events as the Board of Directors of the Organization desire to utilize.

Description

Wee Widdle Ones Chihuahua and Pug Rescue, Inc. came into existence on 12-10-00. We started out with a group of 5 people who wanted to be a part of a rescue organization where the dogs are the first and foremost on our priority list. We wanted to be a part of an organization that thoroughly screens their foster homes and potential adopters equally and is also experienced with the breeds that are in foster care and rehomed. We all want what is best for the throwaway dogs that are in our world. So, we all came together and formed Wee Widdle Ones Chihuahua and Pug Rescue, Inc.
