"Shaping Foundations for Successful Lives" through education, social activities,providing needed support for the elderly and families, providing access to safe affordable housing, and acting as a catalyst for bringing in services that have an overall and permanent effect on the community and the residents.


Laurel Civic Association, Inc. is a tax-exempt 501 (c) 3. Our organization was formed in 1969 by a group of dedicated volunteers in the Laurel Community. We were incorporated in 1989 and received our tax-exempt status in 1990. We offer services and support to primarily low income and at risk children and their families through activities that educate, provide positive social interaction, and lead to self-sufficiency.

All of our activities and support for the community are funded through grants, donations, and volunteers.
