Latin American Health Institute (LHI)is a community-based professional organization that promotes the health of the community, its institutions, families and individuals through effective interventions that are culturally competent and technologically appropriate.

Description

Latin American Health Institute researches, assesses, and documents health conditions; develops, evaluates, and disseminates competent health promotion and protection programs; trains its own and other professionals in state-of-the-art cross-cultural service delivery; encourages and enables pertinent components of the health and social services systems to coalesce and coordinate efforts; and effectively advocates for public health in close collaboration with other health and human service organizations.
