Description
Agape Way is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian Charity-Mission organization registered in the United States and the European Union. Because of God's grace, Agape Way started education assistance and cultural exchange ministries in 1999 in Longchang County, Sichuan Province of western China. Later, Agape Way ministries gradually expanded to poor regions in Chongqing, Guizhou, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces, giving impoverished children opportunity, love and hope, showing the love of God and sharing the salvation of Christ with Chinese people. Among the students Agape Way supported, many are in college or in graduate programs; some have already graduated, and now work in various jobs. Quite a few are reading the Bible and some have become volunteers for Agape Way.
Within the last ten years, besides helping more than 3000 impoverished students with schooling opportunities, Agape Way also helped with special education, school remodeling, purchasing basic facilities such as desks and stools, and computers. Many short-term mission teams have been provided trainings to English and other teachers.
Since the establishment in 1999, Agape Way has established a healthy financial accountability system to deliver financial supports to designated individual students, teachers and specific projects to prevent corruptions.
The vision of Agape Way is to show the love and glory of God through Christian works, and to share the salvation of Christ to Han and minority people groups through our mouths. We feel compeled to live out the love of God and pass it to others.
