Mission Statement

The mission of Kids' HealthLINK is to reduce the emotional and informational isolation experienced by families with a chronically ill child. We provide low income, Bay Area families with a chronically ill child with internet access, equipment, and internet skills tutoring by volunteers. Our goal is to enable families to have more opportunity to connect with others, and greater access to resources and information.

Description

We are a small but growing new non-profit project based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We receive fiscal sponsorship through the Tides Center. Families with chronically ill children are referred to our services through several different local agencies. Our goal this year is to provide twenty-five families with WebTVs, and in-home internet skills tutoring.
