Mission Statement

To educate each student in a spirit of faith and academic excellence according to principles in the Lasallian tradition of the Christian Brothers. As a caring, disciplined community with a shared mission, St. Michael's nurtures students as individuals, challenging them to recognize the dignity of their lives and the lives of others. Students are encouraged to develop and share their unique talents to the best of their abilitites.

Description

St. Michael's High School is a college preparatory school (7th through 12th grade) founded in 1859 located in Santa Fe, NM. St. Mike's history is a story of upholding traditions of highest quality and values based education while setting tuition fees the majority of Santa Feans can afford. We are proud of our faculty, parents, alumni/ae and students; results speak for themselves: our SAT schores are much higher than those obtained at state and national levels and more than 95% of our graduates go on to four-year colleges and universities annually. Generations of New Mexicans from all religious, economic, ethnic and social backgrounds have taken the values and dynamics of St. Mike's into the community.
