Mission Statement

Los Angeles Team Mentoring, Inc. operates the TeamWorks Mentoring Program for middle school students ages 10-14, throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District. Each team includes a teacher, a college student and a community volunteer paired with 12 middle school students. TeamWorks uses an activity-based curriculum that focuses on team building, leadership skills, community service, and self esteem.

I enjoyed every moment of being a mentor at Para Los Ninos through Los Angeles Team Mentoring. I got to bond with children and help them see things in a different way while hearing their opinions and thoughts as well. It was very rewarding and even though it was a weekly commitment, I loved it!
