Mission Statement

Overcoming disabilities is difficult, but friends make it easier. At Move A Child Higher (MACH 1) the friends are horses. MACH 1 offers therapeutic horseback riding programs designed to help children with disabilities improve their physical abilities and emotional health. These program accomplish their aim by providing a safe place, positive program and friendly people.

Description

MACH 1 uses a unique mix of traditional therapeutic horsback-riding techniques, driving with a horse and cart, developmental vaulting, music, games and sports to achieve carefully developed goals for each rider.

MACH 1 has been in operation since 1996. Staring out with one rider, MACH 1 now has over 20 riders and we have a waiting list of over 15.
