Mission Statement

The mission of IMAGINE is to provide increased mobility and independence through equipment and educational support for the residents of N.C. IMAGINE serves residents who need this equipment/information due to a permanent or temporary disability. We provide tools for independence and educational resources to enhance the quality of life for the disability community.

Description

IMAGINE supports three programs: Revolving Gift Durable Medical Equipment program where we lend this equipment to residents of NC who cannot afford it or do not have adequate insurance. We also build wheelchair ramps for residents of NC through corporate sponsorships. Our third program is called Virtual Buddies and it gifts Pentium II or newer computers to homebound residents of NC who would like to correspond, advocate, job train, etc.
