Mission Statement
Bristol Elder Services, Inc. is an open and affirming agency with a mission to improve the quality of life for elders, disabled individuals, and their families. All of our services revolve around the goal of maintaining independence and dignity. We achieve this by making it easier for individuals and their families to access a comprehensive system of long-term services and supports.
Description
Bristol is a designated Aging Services Access Point, and as such serves as the entry point for a vast array of elder services in southeastern Massachusetts. Additionally, as an Area Agency on Aging, Bristol receives and disburses funds under the federal Older Americans Act, promoting independence for elders through the provision of community-based services.
Primarily serving people in the following communities, although we can help others search for resources in other areas of Massachusetts: Attleboro, Berkley, Dighton, Fall River, Freetown, Mansfield, North Attleboro, Norton, Raynham, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Somerset, Swansea, Taunton, Westport.
Working hand-in-hand with elders, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals, we're proud to make a difference in the lives of elders and disabled individuals in our region.
