Through innovative competitions and training programs, DFI is leading the way in advancing the art and technology of digital filmmaking.

Description

DFI founded the New Mexico Ecopedia, a series of mini-documentaries about what some innovative New Mexico businesses and individuals are doing about alternative energy strategies. Take a look: New Mexico Ecopedia.

The Digital Filmmaking Institute offers a number of filmmaking productions services as well as workshops and filmmaking packages. See Services for more details.

DFI has forged educational partnerships with the Media Arts program at the University of New Mexico and the state's Film Technicians Training Program in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Roswell, El Rito and Las Cruces. DFI has worked with the University of New Mexico Division of Continuing Education, Central New Mexico Community College, Albuquerque Public Schools, City of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County and IATSE 480 to provide training opportunities in the movie industry.
