Mission Statement
Founded in 1968, New Bridge Foundation's underlying orientations is to provide high quality, culturally competent drug and alcohol services to adults and adolescents residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. The mission of the program reflects the basic view that substance abuse treatment requires a broad, intensive continuum of comprehensive services, including prevention and education, outpatient, day treatment, residential, and aftercare. The primary treatment goal of each of the New Bridge programs is to provide adults and adolescents with the education, support, and skills necessary to live productive and healthy lives without the use of drugs or alcohol.
New Bridge Foundation promotes the basic human rights, dignity, health and safety of the persons served. New Bridge Foundation serves a culturally diverse population and does not discriminate on the basis of race, culture, spiritual beliefs, socio-economic status, language, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. New Bridge Foundation is committed to recruit persons reflective of the population served as members of the governance authority, management and staff.
