Description
The Ark is a non-profit educational arts organization committed to presenting the best in folk, roots and ethnic music. It relies on the support of members, donors and volunteers. The Ark produces shows for all ages six nights a week in its Main Street location as well as several large-scale events throughout the year at venues such as Hill Auditorium and The Michigan Theater. Ark performers have included Ani DiFranco, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Bonnie Raitt, John Prine, Gilda Radner, Kate Clinton, Diana Krall, Arlo Guthrie, Richie Havens, kd lang, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Michael Hedges, Dr. John, Shawn Mullins, Junior Brown, Bela Fleck, Dar Williams to name but a few.
