The Discovery Center of Springfield is an interactive, hands-on museum committed to inspiring people of all ages with a life-long love of learning and an appreciation for the world and our place in it.

Description

Discovery Center is a science center for kids and families currently offering 3 levels of permanent hands-on, interactive and educational exhibits for people of all ages, such as Discovery Town, BodyWorks, EnergyWorks, Paleo-Lab Dino Dig, Explor-atory Lab and Multi-Cultural Village. Traveling exhibitions change throughout the year. Discovery Center also offers as many as 18 educational programs in the areas of health and fitness, chemistry, physics, forensics, environment, and biology. We host and participate in many special events and educational workshops (for children) throughout the year.
