The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.

Description

The NCJW Volunteer Network is a non-sectarian program that recruits and refers volunteers to perform specific tasks in over 150 diverse non-profit agencies serving the Essex county community and surrounding areas. NCJW TVN also assists in building public awareness and understanding of the importance of volunteerism by sponsoring educational symposiums and ongoing training and workshops. NCJW TVN is the sponsoring agent of the Essex County DOVIA and the convener of Essex County COAD
