Mission Statement

AniMeals mission is to save the hungry, the helpless, the lost and the little ones just struggling to survive. We house and feed as many animals as possible, working to ease the suffering of the weak and unloved; to build a no-kill sanctuary, a no kill community and realize the achievement of a no-kill nation.

Description

AniMeals is a non-profit animal food bank and no-kill shelter headquartered in Missoula, Montana with a northwest regional office in Whitefish, Montana. We work to end hunger by providing dog and cat food to animal rescue groups, humane societies, shelters and homebound/disabled households that could not otherwise afford to feed their pets. As the nation's largest animal food bank, AniMeals services an area covering approximately 50,000 square miles from the Canadian border south to Dillon, MT.

Our no-kill shelter and adoption center in Missoula has saved the lives of nearly 500 animals marked for euthanasia. We house between 20-70 cats at any one time at the shelter and coordinate a foster network for dogs.

AniMeals is supported primarily by donations and fund-raising events.
