Mission Statement

Los Alamos Retirement Community owns and oversees the operation of Aspen Ridge Lodge and Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to provide a continuum of care for residents of Los Alamos County and the surrounding region. A range of quality services are provided from independent and assisted living to skilled nursing care. Residents are treated with dignity and respect and their physical, mental and spiritual needs are met in a professional and caring manner. Los Alamos Retirement Community seeks to exceed the expectations of residents, families, staff and community.

Description

LARC is a 501(c)(3) (tax deductible) organization that owns and operates Sombrillo Nursing Home, a skilled healthcare facility, and Aspen Ridge Lodge, an independent and assisted living residence. Both facilities are located in Los Alamos but they serve the northern New Mexico region.
