Description
Shining Star Kids of America Academy and Summer Camp Programs provides a unique model of Education, Sustainable Green living, Wildlife Hiking, Art & Equine Therapeutic programs directed toward the restoration of youths ages 12 -18 yrs of age, on a 125 acre farm-ranch in Sonoma County.
The program will focus on the following:
Providing comprehensive services and resources for a fostering environment through an approach that embraces sustainable green living, agriculture, from planting to market, cooking and gardening, Equine Therapy, all on a 125 acre ranch setting chosen to optimize the therapeutic and healing experience.
Providing programs that nurtures educational, emotional, psychological, and social abilities through the assistance of a highly trained staff with expertise in the complex issues facing children with various special needs.
Regaining trust and develping secure attachments, building confidence toward self-reliance. Each and every one of our kids, with the proper love, encouragment and opportunity for healing and attachment, can become a constructive and valuable contributor to society.
