Mission: to preserve the history and culture of the Japanese Americans in the Northwest, to educate the public about the Japanese American experience during World War II, and to advocate for the protection of civil rights for all.

Description

Oregon Nikkei Endowment is planning to rededicate the Japanese American Historical Plaza in Tom McCall Waterfront Park on its 20th anniversary. This award winning Plaza was built with the help of the Japanese Amercian community and funds from local foundations.
