SF Youth Unity ECO-FEST

CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!!!

Volunteer to be part of a fun outdoor green block party! Help spread awareness of the environmental justice movement!

When:Saturday May 22, 2010 from 12-5pm

Available shifts: (8:30-12)(12-4:30)(4:30-7)

Where:Dolores Park 18 th & Dolores

  • Hip-Hop Performers, Dancers, Dj's
  • Activities, Skate Park, Graffiti, Art
  • Vendors, Green Fashion
  • FUNNN!!

Mandatory orientation for the service Saturday May 15 from 12-1:30pm at Global Exchange Office 2017 Mission St. 2 nd floor (16 th & Mission) Food will be provided. Volunteer hours will be available upon request.

Description

ECOFEST 2010 GOALS

  • To engage youth, regardless of culture, race, age, ability and social economic status, in the enviromental justice movement.
  • To inspire youth activism around the green movement to youth.
  • To provide an opportunity for ESLI youth to showcase their projects.
  • To provide a sence of community
  • To make Eco-Fest the largest most exsiting event in the city on May 22!
  • To spread awareness through media coverage of the event.
