Mission Statement

Chicago Women in Trades works to increase the number of women in the skilled trades and other blue collar occupations and to eliminate the barriers that prohibit women from entering and remaining in non-traditional careers.

Description

Chicago Women in Trades is a membership based organization with programs to introduce and train women for fulfilling careers in the trades, to encourage and support young women in high school to consider the trades for their career, and to work with employers to create a more equitable workplace.
