Kilgore Together

Description

Kilgore Together is a community coalition, a partnership of citizens from all areas of our community. We involve students, teachers, parents, clergy, youth organizations, KISD administration, government employees, elected officials, members of the community and VOLUNTEERS to help with our goal of making Kilgore a safe, drug-free place for our students and our families.

This is done through education, utilizing the protective and risk factor assessments, prevention programs, activities for kids that do not include alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs, and working to raise each student's self-esteem to make healthier choices.

Our volunteers work with administrative tasks, assist with programs and activities, manage communications through website and email, and help the kids in programs ranging from tutoring to parties.
