Mission Statement

Greater Clark County Schools mission is to guide students toward educational and physical potential by using all available resources to support the students of our district. Greater Clark County Schools is committed to cooperating with students, parents, and the community to provide a nurturing, safe and orderly learning environment that promotes educational success.

Description

Greater Clark County Schools is the largest of school districts in Southern Indiana. It is located on the Ohio River in Southern Indiana, and serves Jeffersonville, Charlestown, and New Washington communities.

Greater Clark County Schools is the nineteeth largest school corporations with twelve elementary, four middle schools, and two alternative schools serving approximately 11,000 students. Greater Clark offers a variety of courses and at different academic levels. Our school corporation is experiencing rapid growth and is in the process of building a new school in Charlestown High School and New Washington Middle/High School.
