Description

KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs (FCCP) is a community-based therapeutic foster care program for children needing placement outside of their family of origin. The program serves children who require specialized services for emotional, behavioral and/or medical issues.

Our program is based on the resiliency model in which we help children increase the protective factors and reduce the risk factors in their lives in order to promote successful life outcomes. The FCCP program trains qualified families in the community to provide individualized treatment to children in care. Treatment needs are best met when the characteristics of the treatment family are closely matched with the individual needs of the child. The FCCP program operates out of our office in Columbia, Maryland.
