Mission Statement

The mission of the Joyful Foundation is to extend a loving hand to those in need and provide opportunities for those who would benefit from service to others. We supply quailty handmade blankets as a gift of comfort and warmth to individuals in their time of illness or hardship. We are built on compassion for the individual and belief in the ability to change a life with one small act of kindness at a time.

Description

We cut and sew fleece blankets to be given to children and adult cancer and infusion patients, as well as others in need of comfort and warmth. We need volunteers with a willing heart. The cutting and sewing is done by adults. In addition, we have youth groups assist in braiding fleece dog toys, which are then sold to purchase more fleece material to make our Joyful Blankets.
