Mission Statement

Documentary Alliance is dedicated to eliminating the cultural amnesia that is robbing Americans of the valuable lessons of the past. We do this by using film, video, and multimedia to fashion thoughtful and thought provoking stories about history, culture, and science. By preserving and presenting these ideas, we hope to inform, inspire, and empower Americans to fashion a better tomorrow.

Description

Documentary Alliance supports the production of historical, scientific, and cultural documentary film production for PBS. In addition, the organization curates a documentary film screening series in Houston that presents important but seldom seen documentaries to the community--a program we hope will foster increased appreciation for this art form.

I Love PBS!!!! Love the shows .....Big Big Fan of educational TV... Even the commercials are cool!
