To develop, motivate, and encourage strategic relationships that reduce county risk factors and decrease substance abuse rates among youth and adults.

Description

ASAP is focused on mobilizing a community to implement evidence based prevention strategies to prevent substance abuse in Pasco County. Current committees include Underage Drinking, Prescription Drug Abuse, Data Evaluation, and Marketing. Our monthly membership meetings occur the fourth Tuesday of every month from 10am to 11:30am at the Land O'Lakes Community Center 5401 Land O'Lakes Blvd. Land O'Lakes, FL 34638. Everyone is welcome to attend. We stive to include members from all sectors of the community inclucing youth serving organizations, law enforcement, state and local government, health care, treatment providers, youth, parents, faith-based community, business community, school personnel, civic groups, and media among others.
