The Old Fort Steuben Project, Inc. is non-profit educational and historical organization formed in 1986 to reconstruct, develop, interpret, and promote the original site of the 1786-1789 American fort in order to inform the public about the historic and cultural heritage of the Upper Ohio Valley in the early Federal era.
Description
The Old Fort Steuben Project, Inc. maintains and promotes Historic Fort Steuben, the First Federal Land Office, Fort Steuben Park, the Fort Steuben Eastern Gateway Visitor Center, and Berkman Amphitheater. The organization provides tours, exhibits, concerts, and programs for visitors of all ages. The Visitor Center welcomes tourists and travelers, offering maps, brochures, and travel information.
