Delivery Drivers deliver free meals to homebound seniors throughout Kent County, one third of all our senior clients say that our delivery drivers are the only person they see every week. This service can offer you a real opportunity to build a connection with the seniors in our community. Delivery Drivers begin their routes at our Grandville location, picking up their coolers and route logs between 8a-10am on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, each route has a staggered start time to prevent too many people congregating at one time. From there, drivers head out on their routes all over Kent County. Routes vary in size based on how many clients are on the route, and the area they are in. Routes last between 1.5 and 3 hours. Drivers then return to Grandville to drop off route logs and coolers. All drivers use their own vehicles and are given a quick training session before their first route.
