Mission Statement

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin’ Inc.) is small group of un-paid volunteers with a passion for animals. We foster these animals in our homes until they find forever homes.

A.A.R.F. is operated out of our volunteers’ homes. All animals are in "foster care" and are provided with food, water and shelter - all provided by their generous "foster parents" unless food donations are available. Yes, a lot of the time animals are crated while in foster care - for the protection of them and the protection of their foster parents’ own animals. We hear a lot of people tell us that this is cruel for animals. Our philosophy is that this is for a short period of time in their lives. With the overpopulation problem that exists in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee, there is no telling how many dogs and cats die on a daily basis because people have no where to take them. We call these guys "The lucky ones" because even though they live in crates, they have ample social time, and more importantly - they are safe!!!
